Letter from Theresa Villiers MEP for London

NB.  Theresa Villiers is now the MP for Chipping Barnet and not an MEP.  However she retains a strong interest in these events.

Dear Mike and Ann

Thank you for your kind email of yesterday.

Following up on our meeting, I have put together letters for the 6 Cypriot MEPs, setting out your story and asking them if they will meet you. I am also writing to Sir Robert Atkins, who is a member of the Petitions Committee who would deal with you complaint if you pursued your case via the European institutions. I will also write to the Conservative MEPs in the South East of England (who represent your neighbour, Mr Murray) and for the South West, who represent Mrs Jerram. Lastly, I shall contact David Heathcote-Amory, Sydney Chapman and Tim Collins to see whether I can coordinate my work on your case with them, particularly in relation to advertising by Aristo.

I think the next step is for you to discuss a suitable time for your visit to Brussels so I can try to fix up the meetings with these and other MEPs who may be able to assist you. I shall ask my assistant, Tom Goose, to discuss some dates with you.
